Cousins....more like best friends...
Growing up everyone has that one favorite cousin. That one cousin that you are closer with than any of the rest. Even though you love the rest of your cousins just as much, it’s that one cousin that you grow closer too. The cousin that you are more like sisters or best friends than cousins. For me that one cousin was Camery Bagley. I love LOVE this girl. She is everything that I always wished I could be. Even though she is two years younger I have always looked up to her so much. She is one of my greatest heroes. When I lived in Utah would have sleepovers all the time. We would walk to the mall by her house and drink orange Julius and sit in the giant bean bags. We have always been so close as long as I remember we have been this close. I have always thought about my babies and who they would be closest too. A cousin from my side or a cousin from my husband’s side. My big sister Jessica had her daughter Ada Mae 3 weeks after Kaylee was born. Her first cousin :) when I think about them and how close they are in age, I always think of Cam and I. I’m so excited that Kaylee has a little cousin to play with. Not just Ada either. My cousin Shawn had his baby, Bailey Sue, was born in January. My aunt Lisa has her daughter Emmy who is one, and Lucy is on the way. My cousin Cattie just had her baby, Thomas a couple days ago. On Travis side she has so many cousins. I don’t really know any of their names but there are so many. I think 16... It’s so cool that she has all these cousins already. I am so excited for her to grow up with them. I love watching her with Mae Mae (Ada), they are so cute together. So when we went and did fathers day pics we got these super adorable one of the girls done.
My two favorite people :)
For
father’s day my mom came up with this the idea to take pictures of all the kids
to give my dad. So I thought the same thing would be cute for Trav for his
first father’s day. I went to with my mom big sister Jess and all my younger
siblings to the park and we got some super cute pictures. Well than I decided I
wanted to be able to give some to my dad and inlaws as well, obliviously Trav
family doesn’t want pictures off just Kaylee and me, so Trav came with me and
we got some done of our whole little family :) I just love how sweet they
turned out. I can’t wait to get them framed and put them up. I love the single
pictures of Kaylee, she is just so cute. I just don’t know how I got such a
cute baby!! Seriously, look at her; they just don't come any cuter than
this!!!!

6 months and easter
On the 13th Kaylee turned 6 months old. It has been over a year
since I found out that I was pregnant. Now Kaylee is a snotty slobbery 6 month
old who thinks that she is just so grown up. I can’t believe how fast she is
growing. How big she has already gotten... I cry every time I think that she is
half a year. It blows my mind that these last 6 months have gone by so fast; it
makes me realize how fast the next six months are going to be. But… on a better note these are just a few
things I want to remember about her at this age:
1.
The way she sucks on her bottom lip and refuses to
smile at anyone…. You can tell she wants to though.
2. The way her
tiny toes are always making their way to her mouth...
3. How she tolls
onto her belly every time we lay her down and ten minutes later is screaming at
the top of her lungs because she is frustrated that she is on her belly.
4. Her sweet
little giggle that is so hard to get out of her.
5. The one
long curly hair that is always sticking out of the top of her head.
6. How she
holds her arms back when you are carrying her, like she is superman or
something.
I am so proud of her. Every time someone tells me how cute or smart
or pretty she is, my heart just lights up and I am filled with this overwhelming
feeling of love. I am so honored to ne her nom. I wish that she was not growing
up so fast. I wish that she would stay this small for just a little while
longer. I wish that I didn’t know that she is going to grow up. I wish that I
could slow down time. I feel like I am stuck on a carousel that is going faster
and faster and I have no way of getting off. No way to stop to look at the
sites. No way to slow it down. Don’t get me wrong. I want Kaylee to grow up and
be happy. I want her to get older and be able to talk and play with me. I just
wish that it would happen a little bit slower. You know what I mean??
Also we had our very first Easter
as a family and Kaylees first Easter! It was a lot of fun. I loved every second
of picking Kaylees basket and basket stuffers. She had this adorable pink
basket that had lacy ribbon and butterflies around the top. It had a little
white lamb, some yogurt juice, a rattle and two binky’s stuffed inside. You
would think that those are things that a six month old would hope and dream of.
But you would be wrong haha Kaylee HATED Easter. She was so bored with the
whole thing. She didn’t really care for anything in her basket. Oh well. I had
a blast.

Junkies
Travis and I are junkies. Not drug junkies. Fast food, soda guzzling, junk food eating garbage guts. It all started when we started dating. Before every date we would either go out to dinner or stop at the gastion and load up on snacks. Then before school we would stop and get monster, coffe, and a mt. dew. Between 2nd and 3rd period we would get another mt. dew. Then again after school we would stop before he dropped me off to get one more before we left eachother. Once we added it up. Every month we would spend somthing like $600 on just soda. That doesnt include the fast food and snacks. We dated for two years before getting married. Now that we are married it as been really hard to break those habbits. We eat out alot and get alot of snacks and soda. SO we now have decided to kick our dirty habbits once and for all. Kaylee is growing so fast and before we know it she is going to be eating and drinking the same things we do. Neither of us wants her to grow up eating fast food for every meal. This month for the first time we made a grocery list. We also went to winco instead of alberstons and saved around 130 bucks!! Together we made a list of 13 of our favorite home cooked meals and a list of our favorite frozen meals that we can throw in the oven and cook on the days we dont cook. We aloud our selfs two treats. We each bought a bag of chips and a pint sized icecream. We always buy 3 12 packs of soda to keep in our fridge. This time we only bought two 12 packs and a 12 pack of minute made light. There will be no eating out this month. Not once. To help us Trav and I came up with a plan. With all the money we save not eating out, we are going to put into our savings account. For our one year aniversey we are going to salt lake. Tonight for dinner we made sgetti, peas and garlic bread. It was soooo good. Before makeing dinner we put Kaylee in her stroller and took a family walk. We had so much fun and Kay Bug loved it so much (she sat in her seat with her mouth hangin open and talked and talked about everyhting she saw) that we decided to take a family walk every night. I can honestly say I am very proud of us. We are junkies and we have found our cure. :)

Bored...
Travis and I have been so BORED!! I hate admiting this but I miss high school. I miss seeing my friends everyday and being so carefree. I miss the drama, hanging out on the weekends and stupid school events. I use to go to school everyday, Trav and I would go hang out for an hour or two after school. Then later that night we would make up stupid excuses to hang out again. I loved fridays best. Short days would fly by. After school I would run home and get my chores finished so I would be allowed to go on date that night. He would pick me up about 6 or 7, then we would make a horkleys run. We would always get mt. dew, monster, chips, peacho rings, or star bursts. We would then go to Travs house (there was really no supervison. we would be left alone in the basement) and watch a movie. My curfew was alway midnight but we would leave around 11 so we could stop and makeout before he took me home. We were so in love. Saying goodnight was the hardest thing. We could stay up for hours talking on the phone and texting. I miss those days so much, the flirting, going to parties, haning out with friends and have endless money. There were no bills. No toilet paper and paper towls to buy. No wipes, dipers, formula. No trying to keep up clothes for Kayless ever growing body. We have had to grow up so fast. Some days are just so hard for me. I dont admit to it because I chose this. Somtimes I wonder if giving Kaylee up would have been the right thing to do, to give Trav and I room to grow. Growing up has been so hard. Im still so young. I still want to party on the weekends. Every day is just a repeat of the last. Wake up at 7, get ready for work, get Kaylee ready, wake up Trav, drop Kaylee off, go to work, pick her up, get home. clean up, take a three hour nap with baby, Trav gets home we watch whatever season we are on at the time, put Kay to bed, go to bed...repeat. Not that I would really trade this. I love Kaylee so much. She is my whole life, I would not change her for the world. Travis is the love of my life, I love wakeing up with him and falling asleep together. I am so honered to be his wife. I am proud to be Kaylees mom. I am just bored!! We need a new hobby. Or a vaciton. Maybe both haha. But for now we will just keep continuing our same old boring lifes.

Valentines day..
Normaly for Valentines day Trav and I go out to eat, but this being our first year married I wanted it to be speacial. Not only did I have Trav as my Valentine, but we also had miss Kaylee. Our sweet little sweetheart. I wanted out first Valentines to be a date for all of us. So Kaylee and I came up with a great idea to make Trav a valentines dinner. I was going to make him cornflake chicken, twiced baked tots, salad and some rolls. Kaylee was going to make him rainbow chip cake. His very favortie. Thoughtfull of her right?? Then we came up with the plan to get little sweetheart candies to represent Kaylee and hugs and kisses for Travis and I. We were going to make a trail of hugs and kisses from the bathroom while he was in the shower, that would lead to the table. There would be a nice candle light dinner, with sweetheart candies all over the table and a note form Kaylee and I to Trav. I had three hours to pick Kaylee up from daycare, make dinner, just have it warming in the oven, get the house decorated, get ready and pick up Travis. I didnt have anytime to waste. As soon as we got home, we mixed Trav his cake and put it in the oven without preheating it, just added ten extra minutes to the timer. I started on the cornfake chicken and right as it was finishing the timer for the cake went off. Perfect timing. But instead of reaching into a nice warm oven and pulling a cooked cake, I reached into a cold oven and pulled out cake batter. The oven had broken. I had no way to finish cooking my valetines day dinner. I was crushed, I had been planning this day for monthes. I sat in front of my broken oven and cried. I took five minutes to compose myself and came up with plan b. When it was time I picked up Trav and brought him home. Everything else (except the candles I never could find them) went as planned the candy trail and decorated table with a note to husband/daddy was waiting for Trav. Instead of chicken and tots we had grilled cheese and chips and salsa. We watched our show together snuggled on the couch and the night turned out alot better that I could have ever hoped for. You just gotta love things that dont go as planned. :)

Growing like a weed...
...but cuter!! Kaylee is growing, growing and growing!!
Everday she looks bigger to me. Her face is thinning, she is getting taller. Already outgrowing her 3-6 month pants. She will be 4 months on the 13th. 4 MONTHS!! I finally understand the song "Dont Blink". I did. Its like magic. I feel like I am not doing much to teach her how to learn and grow. But she said "Mama" and "Da-Da". She giggles. She can stand and can sit up on her own for like 4 seconds. She gurgles all the time and thinks she is talking. She got so so big so fast. I miss the new born things about her. When she was first born she had the cutest stork bite on her nose. Its gone now. She grew out of it. I miss her little squeaks and new born cry. I miss her waking up at one in the morning, and just having her all to myself to snuggle. She has changed us in so many ways. So many good ways. She stole our hearts. They are forever hers.
